  1. Texas A&M Football Equipment Office Fall 2010

  2. Site Rating I give this site a 5-star rating because it has been an awesome experience for me. I’ve watched Aggie football my entire life, and to be working for the team this semester and be on the sideline for games is something I’ll never forget. Also, the people who I work with definitely made my experience a lot of fun and even more enjoyable.

  3. Internship Objectives • Learn inner workings and day to day equipments room operations of an FBS football program • Maintain current inventory using ACS equipment inventory system and monitor daily issue and receive logs • Assist with packing equipment travel trunks for road games as well as assist in loading/unloading equipment semi- truck before and after road games • Assist with running football practice, monitoring segment clock and daily practice time logs • Other duties as assigned relative to running a football equipment room

  4. Project Description My project was to prepare the equipment travel trucks for road games. I was to check each trunk to make sure that all the equipment was in the correct trunk and then move the trunk so that it may be loaded on the semi-truck. Once the majority of the trunks were checked off, I assisted in loading the truck.

  5. Daily Objectives • Fix equipment that needs fixing • Pass out laundry to players, coaches, staff • Run segment clock at practice • Keep track of practice logs • Check travel trunks if on the road that weekend • Any other duties as assigned

  6. Words of Wisdom Come to work each day with a good attitude and be ready to get anything that might be needed done. Be reliable and work hard to go beyond expectations. Create a relationship with everyone you come in contact with while on the job.
