The disclosure of information outside this meeting, should not occur unless there is a legal basis for a disclosure. Community Priorities Warwickshire Police is obliged to protect communities from harm in line with the ‘Police Priorities’ This may mean in exceptional circumstances SNT officers may be required to work on other policing priorities. If this happens there will be a need to re-negotiate priorities. This will be done in liaison with the Chair of the panel

Forum Priorities • DRUGS - Speedwell Lane, Recreation Area, New Street Working Men’s Club car park & surrounds. • (25 Targeted Patrols ). • SPEEDING BOOT HILL - Baddesley Ensor. • (10 Targeted Patrols). • PARKING – Dordon & Whitehouse Rd. Polesworth at School opening & closing times • (25 Targeted Patrols).

DRUGS - Speedwell Lane, Recreation Area, New Street Working Men’s Club car park & surrounds. • (25 visits = 100% agreed Policing activity ) • 53 TARGETED PATROLS CONDUCTED. • Regular Patrols carried out by Local SNT & also Incident Resolution units. • Domehawk Camera installed adjacent to the play area/ entrance has reduced nuisance & promoted children to play there.

SPEEDING BOOT HILL - Baddesley Ensor. • (10 visits = 100% agreed Policing activity ) • 27 TARGETED PATROLS CONDUCTED. • 121 cars checked as well as 1 hour 40 min in total spent on speed checks using the speed gun. A total of 10 drivers warned regarding their speed- No prosecutions • Vehicle & high visibility patrols conducted using Boot Hill as a ‘Through Route’ where possible • Nuisance youths/ ASB on motorbikes in the area have been tackled as well with some youths/ parents being advised • DOBEMIN continues to be successfully utilised.

  6. Nuisance motorcycle campaign-Launched April • Routes have been identified through Police reports • Identified hotspot locations will have signage and will receive freepost postcards Report incidents online at www.warwickshire.gov.uk/dobemin Or using the freepost postcard

Nuisance motorcycle • campaign- cont • The local petrol stations in hotspot locations will be visited • Trading Standards will reinforce the legalities around supplying fuel to those under the age of 16 • Aim to reduce the numbers refuelling or getting fuel to set fire to stolen bikes.   9. PARKING – Dordon & Whitehouse Rd. Polesworth at School opening & closing times • (25 patrols = 100 % agreed Policing activity) • 32 TARGETED PATROLS CONDUCTED • Frequent checks have been conducted by using this a ‘Through Route’ as well as dedicated patrols during the busy periods. • Close & frequent liaison with the School Management releasing News Letters regarding this has also assisted greatly • Some schools have used their own cones to great effect

  10. NORTH FORUM NEWS – The North Forum news letters were sent out at the end of May 2012. Check www.police.uk for Street level Crime Maps, for crime figures. . NEW local number “101”, getting a good response from residents. Good feedback from our engagement with the local schools, public Houses, and shops in respect of local crime. Engagement with local children has assisted with low level crime being picked up with increased levels of intelligence, to detect crime on your area.
