High Level Goals • Long term goals • Enhance the educational programs, materials & curricula in the scientific and technological fields in schools • Orient the educational practices to the project based learning • Seed the competition spirit within the middle & high school students via creation of local fairs • Short term goals • implement and pilot local fairs by the CNIPRE (national center of pedagogical innovation and research in education) a department within the MOE • Establish a list of 48 teacher (2 per Wilayas) for a first training session by the end of June • Getting the translated materials in French • Set up a multidisciplinary Steering team for the project (head of innovation department, teacher, inspector) • Having the National Center for Training of Trainers in Education, involved

  3. Objectives • Succeeding means : • Having a local fair listed by October 2011 • Having at least one team participating in 2012 • Securing MOE’S Funding for establishing local fairs
