Lisa’s Story. When I was young my nana taught me to knit. This was a very special time because I felt my closest to her. This opened my up creative side. I grew confidence in my ability to create art. This picture was a batik using candle wax and fabric paint.

  2. When I was young my nana taught me to knit. This was a very special time because I felt my closest to her.

  3. This opened my up creative side. I grew confidence in my ability to create art. This picture was a batik using candle wax and fabric paint.

  4. My favourite teacher was Mrs Baker who inspired me and gave me confidence in myself.

  5. Roller skates were my salvation, I could be free and spent hours outside with my friends.

  6. Holidays at the Murray River were the best, fishing, family, cousins, campfires and plenty of eating and singing.

  7. My own daughter is so different, in the holidays she loves to read and sleeping in.

  8. My daughters favourite subject at school is art as she loves to paint just like me. My son loves ancient history
