Problem Definition • Revised Client Statement “Design an inclusive playground of an area of 30m*30m and that is suitable for both normal and disabled children whose age ranges between 5 and 12 years. The playground design should be safe to children and to the environment. It should safely accommodate 30 students at any one time. The design should be economically feasible as this is a charity. The playground should be accessible as it should include paths for children with different disabilities including blind and wheel chaired children. The design of the playground’s equipment must be reliable and child friendly. This includes the durability, attraction and comfort of the equipments design. Moreover the design should be developmental, that is, the children can develop their social and physical skills.” ….
