  1. Join HGI’s Smart-Home Open Forum in Torino, Italy - Tuesday 19 March HGI invites members of the broadband and smart-home industries to attend an open forum on the latest smart-home developments on Tuesday, March 19, at the TELECOM ITALIA LABS Auditorium in Torino, Italy from 11:00 – 18:00. Attendees will also be welcomed at a cocktail reception from 18:00-19:00, where smart-home demonstrations will be given. During the extended lunch time there will be the possibility to visit the Innovation lab of telecom Italia, adjacent to the Auditorium, to touch with hands the digital home solutions under development This forum is part of the HGI Q1 2013 meeting and will update the HGI community and guests on the latest developments in the Italian smart-home ecosystem, including home interconnect technologies, service provider and utilities solutions, and contributions to international activities, standardization bodies, funded projects. The forum will also provide updates about the smart-home architecture being developed within the HGI, in cooperation with other SDOs and fora. The HGI’s member companies are developing the software platform requirements for a range of smart home services being deployed by the Broadband Service Providers and partners. Delegates registered to the Q1 2013 Torino HGI meeting will be automatically registered to the Forum.
