  3. New Reports

  4. Invoice Line Report • Similar to the Order and PO Line Reports. • Lists out parts that have been invoiced on Sales/Service Orders and/or Jobs. • Tons of selection options (too many to fit on a slide!). • Has the Quick Format feature.

  5. SA Unposted Earned Report • Off the S/A Reports Menu. • Provides a list of S/A’s that have an earned revenue schedule & you haven’t received the earned revenue for which you are entitled. • Looks at S/A’s based on Expiration Date • Great Clean up report.

  6. Commission Journal Report • Completely re-worked. • Now off the OE Reports Menu. • Lots of selection options.

  7. Billed Labor Report • Off Service Invoice Reports menu • Offers “Quick Format” option. • Lists Labor Activity for invoiced SO’s.

  8. Service Order Item Report • So new it’s not even on the menu! wo-4-26 • Offers “Quick Format” option. • Lists Parts from SO’s(invoiced or not)

  9. Quick Format vs. XLSX

  10. Quick Format • “Quick Format” available option when you run some reports. • Allows you to generate XLS spreadsheet with extra detail above what shows on the printed report.

  11. To File as XLSX File Type For all columnar reports (with or without the Quick Format option), you can save it “To File” and select .XLSX as the type and it will come out in the proper columns!

  14. Report Builder • Report Builder allows you go use “Views” to create and run your own reports. • User Report Builder allows staff to run the reports, but not build them.

  15. Building a Report • Select “Private” or “Public” • Selection effects which “Views” are available. • If desired View is in Public, select [Copy View to Local] to appear in Private. • After choosing “View”, designate users (optional), and add columns to report. • Add Clauses and Sorting, then Save/Run

Summary • There are some exciting new reports in GE. • Quick Format allows for extra detail in an excel spreadsheet that doesn’t fit on paper. • All Columnar Reports can be saved to XLSX • You can build your own reports via Report Builder. • If you find you need a “View” that isn’t there, then just request a custom.
