  2. What Pleases God? • FAITH! (Hebrews 11:5-6) • Respect & Reliance (Psalm 147:10-11) • Selflessness (1 Kings 3:5-13) • Single-minded dedication (2 Tim. 2:4) • Allowing God to work in us and through us (Hebrews 13:20-21; Philippians 2:12-13) • We are work tools made by a Master Craftsman (Ephesians 2:10) • He takes pleasure in our work. (Psalm 37:23) • We must keep ourselves ready and available (2 Timothy 2:21)

  3. What Pleases God? • Giving & Sharing (Hebrews 13:16; Philippians 4:18) • Speaking God’s word as God’s word (1 Thessalonians 2:4; Galatians 1:9-10) • Praise & thanksgiving (Psalm 69:30-31) • Obeying Parents (Colossians 3:20).

  4. Why Please God? • So that prayers will be answered (1 John 3:22) • Because He is our Judge and the Giver of our eternal home (2 Corinthians 5:8-9; 1 Cor. 10:5-6) • To be like Christ (John 8:29; Luke 3:22)

  5. Is God Pleased with YOU? “For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation.” -- Psalm 149:4
