  1. RF Systems – conclusions • No request for fast vector feedback – not feasible. × • No reason to request ferrite modulator × • Hence choose 3-stub tuner.√ • Request 1 stub of 3 is motor driven for remote control – on all 19 cavities • EMMA Repetition rates: 1, 5, 10, 20 Hz. √ • Reduce RF pulse length from 1.6 ms down to 0.5 ms or less, provided this is compatible with HLRF stability.√ • LLRF contract is for a cavity controller; Who specifies and builds synchronization system? • Power supply: commercial capacitor charger – compact, cost effective √ • RF power source – quickly check L-band travelling wave tube from TMB • Optimize cost of 2-3 IOTs and 1-3 PS together; include consequences for floor layout of 2 vs 3 IOTs. • Frequency tuning range. Nervous: no overhead to accommodate errors. Increase from 6MHz to 7 MHz? i) Check lattice effect, really 1 MHz?; ii) check BW of IOT; iii) change tuner-plunger spec? • Request cavity HOMs (freq & R/Q) and loss factors
