Greet the patient by his/her last name

  • Appropriate
      • Greet the patient by his/her name.
      • “Hello, Mr. Jones……”
  • Inappropriate
      • “Hello, Jack”
      • “How’s it going?”
      • Omitting the greeting entirely.
