  2. LINKS are the Key South West Regional Initiatives: Trails, Routes and Paths – Taking the existing strengths and linking them. Tecumseh Parkway – signed driving Route Route 1812 – pan Provincial 1812 themed routes Smart Phone Tour – follows Tecumseh Parkway Anchor sites – ie. Amherstburg and Tecumseh monument – LINKED by projects. Peace Gardens will be a regional initiative AND will relate to the routes. Songwriting Project – tells the local story and is used in events, Agri-tourism – links to existing draws (ie. Wineries) Education Program - 1812 - 101 targeted for BIA’s and Chambers Smart Phone tour – partnership with the University of Western On.

Partnership Development Improved First Nation Relations – Southern First Nations Secretariat Multi-National Partnerships – U.S. and First Nations Existing Tourism Strengths – ie Wineries National Park Services in U.S. and Parks Canada Partnerships Multi-National Youth Initiatives Resource Sharing with six other regions International Initiatives: links made to Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana
