  2. Section Objective • By the end of this section, you will know how to: • Support Corporate Users when they use the following basic services: • Balance Reporting • Stop Payments

  3. Balance Reporting

  4. Balance Report – Previous Day • Previous Day – Corporate Users use the Previous Day Report service to view or export reports that provide account balances and transaction details for the previous business day(s). Specifically, Corporate Users can: • Set up Previous Day report parameters • Define Previous Day report query options • View Report Characteristics (default view is “Table - horizontal (+ notes)” but can be changed by IFS per the financial institution’s request) • Generate a Previous Day Balance report • Create a report file for export to other applications • Define a new Previous Day Favorite Report • Link to Transaction Download Service (if available)

  6. Balance Report – Same Day Real Time Same Day (Online) – Corporate Users use the Same Day Real Time service to view real-time Balance Report information. This service uses the Digital Insight Interface Specifications (DIIS) interface to show same day report information that is continually updated throughout the business day. Corporate Users can also export summary data for one or more accounts, along with history data for a particular account. Remember, Corporate Users with My Dashboard and Previous Day and/or Same Day Balance Reporting permissions will also see Balance Reporting information in the Financial Overview portlet on their Dashboard.

Balance Report – Account History Account History (Small Business Balance Report) – Corporate Users use the Account History service to view both real-time and previous day Balance Report information. This service provides a single view of account balance and transaction information to allow a small business customer to easily access to all of their data. NOTE: If this service is permitted, the “Yesterday” and “Current” links in the Financial Overview portlet on the Dashboard will NOT take the user to the Account History service. Only the accounts to which the user has been permitted for Same Day Balance Reporting display in the Accounts option box. From the results list, click the “+” icon to display the specific transactions for an account.

Balance Report - MultiDay Multi Day – Corporate Users use the Multiday Activity Report service to produce a report that provides previous-day account balance activity in a statement format for a specific date or range of dates. Users can also export information to an external file for use in another application. Use this screen to select the query options you want the system to use when generating the MultiDay Activity report.

Balance Report – Transaction Download Transaction Download – Corporate Users use the Transaction Download service to download cleared transactions into Personal Financial Management (PFM) software such as Quicken, Quickbooks, and Microsoft Money. Step 1: Select an individual account or all accounts. Step 2: Enter a From Date. Step 3: Enter a To Date. Step 4: Click Download to the desired Personal Financial Management software. NOTE: Users can also access Transaction Download from the Previous Day Balance Report query screen.

Balance Report – Favorite Reports Favorite Reports – Corporate Users use the Favorite Reports service to save formatting characteristics and reporting parameters for the Same Day and Previous Day Balance Reports that they run frequently. This service saves time during the report generation process by eliminating the need to redefine report formats each time a report needs to run. NOTE: Corporate Users can have an unlimited number of Favorite Reports. Use this screen to add, edit, delete or run saved Favorite Reports. To add a Favorite Report: Step 1: Click the Add a Report button. NOTE: Favorite Reports that have marked as “Shared” are indicated with a Shared icon. Remember, users with My Dashboard Favorite Report permissions will also be able to add, edit, delete, and run a Favorite Report using the Favorite Reports portal within the Dashboard.

  11. Balance Report – Favorite Reports (cont’d) Step 2: Enter a name and description for report. Step 3: Enter the date range for the report. Step 4: Enter the preferences. Step 5: Enter the output type for the report. Step 6: Enter the report content. Step 7: Enter the report query selections. Step 8: Determine whether this report is private or can be shared. NOTE: If a report is marked as “Shared”, other Corporate Users can run the report. However, only the accounts that have been permitted to the Corporate User display. Only Corporate Admins can edit and delete a “Shared” report. Step 9: Click the Save button.

BR Quick Reports – Previous Day Report Previous Day Report - Corporate Users use the Previous Day Report service to view key account balances and totals, display detailed transactions for an account for a specific date or range of dates , as well as export a file containing Previous Day Balance Reporting information. Although the Previous Day Quick report provides much of the same information as the Previous Day Balance report, this report provides a high-level view of key account information, such as status and summary balances.. To view detail information for a specific account: Step 1: Click the red arrow to expand.

  13. BR Quick Reports – Previous Day Report (cont’d) To export Previous Day information: Step 1: Enter the date range (From/To). Step 2: Select the file output (Comma Delimited (CSV), IIF Import Format, BAI Output, or CS Basic (CSB)). Step 3: Click the Export button.

BR Quick Reports – Same Day Report Same Day Report - Corporate Users use the Same Day Report service to view key account balances and totals, display detailed transactions for an account for a specific date or range of dates , as well as export a file containing Same Day Balance Reporting information. Stop Pay – Stop Payment Stop Payment – Corporate Uses use the Stop Payment service to place a stop payment request or make an inquiry about a previously issued check via the following steps: Step 1: Select the account. NOTE: Only the accounts that have been permitted to the Corporate User for the Stop Payment service display in the Available Accounts box. Step 2: Choose the type of Request (Inquiry vs. Stop). NOTE: If the financial institution has Inquiries set to “off” via the Stop Pay  Stop Pay Setup service, the Inquiry option will not display here. Step 3: Enter all of the required information in the Check Info fields or the Stop Information fields. NOTE: The fields that display (as well as whether they are required or optional) is determined by the financial institution via the Stop Pay  Stop Pay Setup service. Step 4: Click the Submit button. NOTE: The possible actions (i.e. “Stop”, “Cancel Stop”, “Photocopy”) on these screens are determined by the financial institution via the Stop Pay  Stop Response service.   20. Stop Pay – Stop Pay Report Stop Pay Report – Corporate Users use the Stop Pay Report service to retrieve historical data about previously submitted stop payments and stop payment inquiries. To create a Stop Pay Report: Step 1: Select the account(s). NOTE: Only the accounts that have been permitted to the Corporate User for the Stop Payment service display in the Available Accounts box. Step 2: Enter the parameters of the query. Step 3: Determine the layout of the report Step 4: Click the Submit button.

Stop Pay – Stop Pay Report (cont’d) • Step 5: The results of the query will appear in the desired layout and the Corporate User can view the details of the paid check or view an image of the front and back of the check if it has cleared. NOTE: The possible actions (i.e. “Stop”, “Cancel Stop”, “Photocopy”) on these screens are determined by the financial institution via the Stop Pay  Stop Response service.
