  1. C Name___________________ Date: ___________ lassroom Newsletter …with podcasting! • Objectives:This months two part newsletter will be recorded by you! We will be using the program called Audacity (more on this in class) to record each other reciting the classroom newsletter. Every student will be given lines from either part one or part two of the classroom newsletter. After I record you saying your lines, the finished product will be first shared to the class and then posted onto our classroom website for all of your parents to hear. • This will help the environment by saving paper for take home parent newsletters. Your parents will have access to our newsletters 24 hours a day, with internet access. • Procedure: Follow these directions to help create our Classroom Newsletter. • Make a list of possible classroom newsletter story ideas. • After viewing your fellow classmates ideas, rate your top 2 favorite story ideas (to be collected). • Bring in your signed permission slip from home, stating that your parent/guardian allows us to use your voice for our newsletter. • Once you have received your lines: PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!! • Don’t forget to practice voice quality, keeping with pace, and enunciation! • Be prepared with your lines read over at least once, on the day of voice recording. • HAVE FUN!!!!
