The Building • Your key and fob allow you access to your suite/room and Maple East respectively. • Your fob also allows you to access laundry rooms and trash rooms. • Your access is limited to the floor you live on. • Lounges • Pets are NOT allowed. Friendly fish are the exception. • Guests are allowed in the building however YOU are responsible for their behavior. • Maple Hill has a 24 Hour desk. • Ice and vending machines are located on the 1st floor.

  4. The Building • We will have Conference Assistants walking the halls on duty rounds multiple times every day. • The will check every common space and every floor in the building for your safety. • If the desk is closed for any reason (it shouldn’t be) and you need assistance please call the CA on Duty. 479-236-7547 • The secretary will take care of mail. • 1263 W.   5. The Building • Alcohol is strictly prohibited for student’s under the age of 21andis prohibited in all halls on campus. • This is a Tobacco Free Campus. Violation will result in fines. • Please read the Code of Student Life: • http://handbook.uark.edu/chapters.php?chapter=8

  6. The Building • Maintenance Requests: If you have an issue with something in your room please follow these steps to resolve it: • Go to http://housing.uark.edu

  7. Lock-Outs If you lock your keys in your room you will need to come down to the front desk. We will call the Conference Assistants on duty to come let you back in. A lost key is different. We will have to assign you a loaner key.

  8. Emergencies • In case of fire, the alarm will sound and follow with instructions on how to exit the building. • In case of personal injury, call 911 or UAPD at 575-2222. • The University of Arkansas is NOT responsible for loss or damage to students’ personal property for any cause or reason. • Renter’s Insurance • Student rooms may be entered by University officials or staff in cases of emergency and/or maintenance but NOT without notifying you first.

  9. Meals • If you have a meal plan your meals will be served in the Northwest Quad dining hall. • You will need to present your student I.D. for every meal. • You have Flex Dollars. • Quiznos, Papa Johns, Club Red, Starbucks, etc… • You have a certain number of meals for the summer. Once you run out you’re out. Flex is the same way. • You may have food delivered to the dorm. • Razorbucks • www.razorbucks.uark.edu

  10. NWQ Dining Schedule • Breakfast • M-F: 7am-8am • Brunch • Sat & Sun: 11am-1pm • Lunch • M-F: 11:30am-1pm • Dinner • M-F: 5pm-6:30pm • Sat & Sun: 5pm-6

  11. Other Hours • Starbucks: • 7am-5pm M-F • Quiznos/Papa J’s: • 10:30am-2:30pm M-F • Harmon: • 7am-5pm M-F • Union Market: • 7am-2pm M-F • Pizza, Chik-fil-a, Burger King, Sub Generation, etc… • Club Red (Union): • 9am-5pm M-F • Peets: • 7:30am-3:30pm M-F

  13. Campus Razorback Transit Parking Safe Ride The University of Arkansas Campus is beautiful in the summer but unfortunately very hot. Please drink plenty of water. Although you will be very busy, please take time to enjoy the campus and the services it can provide.

  14. Charges If you lose your key and fob you will be billed $150 so please do not lose it. During check-out we will assess damages in your room. Unfortunately if there is significant damage you will be charged for it. You’re paying enough to stay here as it is so be respectful of the building!
