  3. Introduction Welcome Parents and Students, thank you for coming today. We’ll be showing you the Business courses your child can take through grades 9-12.

  5. Grade 9 Business Course(BTT 10) • BTT 10: Introduction to Business • This course introduces students to the world of business. Students will develop an understanding of the functions of Business. This course builds a foundation for further studies in business and helps students develop the business knowledge and skills they will need in their everyday lives.

  6. Grade 10 Business Course(BBI 20) • BBI 20: Information and Communication • Technology in Business This course introduces students to information and communication technology in a business environment and builds a foundation of digital literacy skills necessary for success in a Business world.

  7. Grade 11 Business Courses Grade 11 Business Course offer 3 courses: • BDI 3C - Entrepreneurship • BMI 3C - Marketing: Goods, Services, and Events • BAF 3M- Financial Accounting Fundamentals Preparation

  8. Grade 11 Business Courses (BDI 3C) This course focuses on ways in which entrepreneurs recognize opportunities, and generate ideas. Students will create a venture plan for a school-based or student-run business, through hands-on experiences.

  9. Grade 11 Business Courses (BMI 3C) This course introduces the fundamental concepts of product marketing, which includes marketing of goods, services, and events. Students will examine how trends, issues, global economic changes, and information technology influence consumer buying habits.

  10. Grade 11 Business Courses(BAF 3M) This course introduces students to the fundamental principles and procedures of accounting. Students will acquire an understanding of accounting for a service, merchandising business, computerized accounting and more.

  11. Grade 12 Business Courses Grade 12 Business Course offer 3 courses: • BBB 4M -International Business Fundamentals • BOH 4M - Business Leadership: Management Fundamentals • BAT 4M – Financial Accounting Principals

  12. Grade 12 Business Courses(BBB 4M) Students will learn about the techniques and strategies associated with marketing, distribution, and managing international business effectively. This course prepares students for postsecondary programs in business, including international business, marketing, and management.

  13. Grade 12 Business Courses(BOH 4M) This course focuses on the development of leadership skills used in managing a successful business. Students will analyze the role of a leader in business, with a focus on decision making, management of group dynamics, conflict, motivation of employees, and planning.

  14. Grade 12 Business Courses(BAT 4M) This course introduces students to advanced accounting principles that will prepare them for postsecondary studies in business. It also expands students knowledge of sources of financing, and financial accounting.
