  3. Bell Schedule • Mondays-All 7 classes • We have third lunch during 5th period • Tuesdays/Thursdays – Even Blocks (plus first period) • We have third lunch during 4th period • Wednesdays/Fridays – Odd Blocks (plus first period) • We have third lunch during 5th period

  4. Response to Intervention • RTI – taking the place of MESH • Only for Math and English • I will call you in for Intervention if you are struggling with the material or are struggling to get your work turned in. • Not for make-up work • If you are eligible for make-up work, it must be done in my presence before or after school, or during your lunch.

  5. Library Visits and Reading Visit library as a class on August 25th . The librarians will do a “book tasting” with you. check out books begin reading at beginning of most class days

  6. AUP PLEASE do not forget to have the AUP signed and turned in. You will need to have computer use for this class.

  7. Textbook • Online textbook • Login: students195 • Password: english • I will assign you a textbook if you want one to keep at home

  8. Syllabus Must be signed by you and legal guardian for a grade. Non-negotiable, unless discussed in written form.

  9. A little something about me… DO YOUR BEST. THINK FOR YOURSELF. BE NICE TO PEOPLE. There are enough lazy jerks in this world. Always try to be a little more unique than everybody else. I want you to learn, but more importantly, I want to support you in becoming the best human being you can be.

What are some things you think you would like to or expect to learn about in this class? What would you say is your philosophy on life or your life’s motto?
