ITC Master: a project of pedagogic innovation • What does justify this Master? • A demand for more flexible educative systems • The need to integrate the utilisation of ITC in training • The adaptation of university training to the information society • The process of convergence to the EEES ( Espace Européen d’Enseignement Supérieur) ITC Master, a project of the 9 Universities Group

ITC Master: a project of pedagogic innovation • Elements to be taken into consideration: • A different educative context: the society of information • The challenges are the organisational aspects and the model of learning rather than the technology • New roles for the training instructors • New tools, but…. also new competences to acquire ITC Master, a project of the 9 Universities Group

ITC Master: a project of pedagogic innovation • Grupo 9 Universidades experience • A project which is based on the experience of the CVC-G9 and of each of the group member universities • An experienced teaching staff with the guarantee of the quality of the pedagogic contents and the progress of the courses • The master course will be followed as part-time and will run over two years • This is a practical master, aiming at attaining the necessary aptitudes for the utilisation of ITC in training ITC Master, a project of the 9 Universities Group

ITC Master: a project of pedagogic innovation 60 ECTS during 150 hours of training To whom is it addressed? 48ECTS 2 years of training:  • 1º year: ICT in education • 2º year: Virtual learning environments • Academic or administrative staff • Heads of educative projects • Instructors at all levels/fields • Professionals in all fields related to training • Any person who has an interest in innovation in the field of training of which 30 hours of practical training 12 ITC Master, a project of the 9 Universities Group

ITC Master: a project of pedagogic innovation • The competences which will be attained • Manage educative projects based on ITC • Author learning material based on multimedia systems following an instructional design that guarantees pedagogical soundness • Design and apply adequate ITC strategies • Design learning environments by choosing adequate technologies • Apply ITC didactic possibilities in the teaching process • Assess educative models based on ITC ITC Master, a project of the 9 Universities Group
