£2m over 3yrs to support implementation

  • 15 March 2011 the Autism Act (Northern Ireland) 2010

  • 5 May Royal Assent

  • Amendment to the Disability Discrimination Act 1995

  • [“Clause 1(2). At the end of paragraph 4(1) of Schedule 1 insert – “social (including communication)” and “taking part in normal social relationships”]

  • “Requirement for a cross government ASD Strategy to be prepared and

  • published within 2 years.”
