Tallman Endowment Fund • Lt General Kenneth L.Tallman/8th Academy Supt • ALOs donated $2,000 in honor of Gen Tallman • AOG held the money; $10,000 needed to start endowment fund • ALOs raised $9,000 (1992-1994) • Endowment Fund established in 1994 • Tallman Award Agreement is posted on ALOWeb • See Tallman Award Folder in Toolbox menu

  3. Tallman Pins • Recognize 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 years of service • Requested for active and retired ALOs by the LOD • Eligibility begins January 1st of current calendar year

Tallman Fund Contributions • Tax Free Contributions to the Tallman Endowment are an excellent way to honor an ALO, living or deceased. • Checks should be made out to the Association of Graduates and designated for the Tallman Endowment Fund in the lower left corner • Address: Association of Graduates Attn: Mr. Wayne Taylor 3116 Academy Drive USAF Academy, CO 80840-4475

  6. How to Request a Tallman Pin Pin Request Form is in Tallman Award Folder- ALOWeb Toolbox • Form must be signed by LOD • Request pins by e-mail, fax, or mail • Please follow instructions • Col Holland can tell you if an ALO has previously received a pin

  7. Tallman Award Certificate Tallman Award Certificate can be downloaded from Tallman Award Folder- ALOWeb Toolbox • Form can be completed online, printed, • and framed • Remember to delete underlining before printing the form

  8. Tallman Pin Tracking • LOD Responsibility – Create a Spreadsheet that includes: • Assignment Date • Eligibility Date • Pin Presentation Date
