How We View Our Sin • We must understand sin,1 John 3:4; 5:17; Jas. 4:17; Matt. 7:23 • Must see ourselves as God sees us • Must want to eliminate sin, Acts 2:36-37 • Must fear God, Romans 3:18 • We must know what sin does, Ro. 6:23 • Enemies of God,Col. 1:21 • Defiles heart & life,2 Cor. 7:1 • Under God’s wrath,Rom. 1:18

How We View Our Sin • Must change how we look at sin • Big and Little,Lk. 13:1-5; Ro. 3:23; 5:14 • “Nobody’s hurt…nobody’s business”1 Peter 4:8 • Ceasing sin = Repentance,Rev. 9:20-21 • Must reflect a basic change of heart,Ezek. 18:30-32; Hos. 6:1-6 (Psa. 51:10) • Then one will truly cease his sin
