  1. CAD homework additional info PE.5 HW Help: Not all dimensions are provided in the project exercise. The final drawing should look like this:

PE.5 HW Help: Here are some hints for the drawing: Step 3: The last layer should be named “Text” rather than “Const.” Although there are “construction lines” included in the drawing, the exercise recommends drawing these on the “Object” layer. These are then trimmed down in the final drawing. Step 8: Be sure to check Figure P5-1 in the exercise for the dimensions. Step 10: The lines created in this step act like construction lines, however, you will trim them back in the final drawing and thus they are created on the “Object” layer. Step 11: In this step, I would recommend setting up construction lines to draw the solids and donuts. Be sure to specify the points correctly so that the solids turn out rectangular and not like a bow-tie! Step 13: Use the Dimension  Leader command to draw the arrows. You can change the linetype by double-clicking on the leader and selecting properties. In the properties dialog box you can change the linetype.
