  2. Background • Print Tracker was designed for the print industry as a solution for the problem of gathering meter reads. • Functionality, ease of use and simplicity were the primary objectives. • The ability to pull meters and then use the meter reads for analysis and billing is a main focus.

  3. What Print Tracker ™Does • Discovers local and network printers • Monitors local print jobs* • Gathers network printer meter reads • Sends meter data to a web server on a specified schedule* • *When installed. If running from a USB device, these options are not available.

  4. What the Data Processor Does • Retrieves meter read data from web server • Sends email containing meter read reports • Updates billing database with meter reads • Notifies of installations not reporting • Allows configuring of email and schedule
