  1. The Debate! • Do we ban the pesticides? Or do we wait and see what the science says to PROVE that the pesticides are the main cause of CCD? • The EU has chosen to ban • The US has chosen to wait • Who is making the right decision?!?!

  2. The room has been divided into continents • The left side of the room is the U.S. • You have chosen to continue the use of Neonic’s • The right side of the room is the E.U. • You have chosen to ban them and hope for colony recovery

  3. Your task • Each group must develop their own argument to defend their country’s choice. • Use the websites I have provided and the readings I have printed off to support your argument. (You will be best suited to cite these sources) • You will be working in groups of 4 (so your lab tables)

  4. Expectations • Each team can use up to 2 I-pads at a time • You must cite at least one of the print sources I have provided • All conversation must be on the task at hand. You have only this class period to prep, debates will happen at the next class.
