The VPI is a six year, multi-departmental, government - community partnership to find long-term solutions to violence against those most at risk in our society.
To increase government and community capacity to achieve, in the long term, a reduction in violence against women, children, youth, Aboriginal women and children, seniors, persons with disabilities and others who are vulnerable to violence because of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or economic status.
The VPI is led by the VPI Committee of Ministers, chaired by the Minister Responsible for the Status of Women, the Honourable Kathy Dunderdale:
