  2. Background ICT products and communication between them has grown in complexity Proper and timely testing is of benefit to ICT market None of the international standardization organizations develop Indian specific testing standards or consider Indian requirements GISIF#8, 26 - 28, March 2011

  3. Tasks of the group Survey and study testing needs for ICT in India. Prioritize wide range testing categories identified in step 1. (Interoperability test (IOT), Security test, Acceptance test, etc.,) Clarify Indian requirement for testing based on prioritized items under 2. Develop testing solutions (Test Standard for India) Develop solutions in collaboration with other working groups in GISFI Perform gap analysis on standards developed by other standardization bodies such as IEEE, ISO, and etc. Bring GISFI solutions (Test Standards) to other (international or domestic) standardization bodies where necessary. Work with Indian government departments. GISIF#8, 26 - 28, March 2011
