Evaluation Assignment:2. Develop Appraisal Criteria

  • How do we appraise different Web resources for different ages?

    • Last week’s assignment was to find extant resources

    • What do we need to add, given our expertise in cognitive and social/emotional development?

    • Think of criteria as you collect

  • We’ll develop these criteria Feb 24, 26

  • Select 2-3 resources of each type

    • “Good” and “bad” examples? “Good” and “very good” examples? At least one should be the “best” you can find

  • Organize, describe, and appraise (with our criteria) on the Evaluate.hft

  • Submit your draft worksheet electronically to Connie by March 3
