First thermal transmittance u value l.jpg

Building Thermal insulation Code in Syria

(issued in 17 Nov 2007)

First: Thermal transmittance ( U- value)

U= 0.5 W/m2.K

U= 0.8 W/m2.K

U= 5.2 W/m2.K if Aw ≤ 0.2 Afacade

Or

U= 3.5 W/m2.K if Aw > 0.2 Afacade

U= 1 W/m2.K

U= 1.5 W/m2.K

U= 0.5 W/m2.K

U= 1 W/m2.K

Second: The amount of condensate

in the structural elements

Third: Avoidance Thermal Bridges

Syrian German cooperation project

“ practical application for buildings thermal insulation Code in Syrian“

1- Capacity buildings in different stages about appropriate thermal design of buildings, thermal insulation, building physics, inspection, control and supervision which will help in implementing energy conservation law No. 3 that issued in 2009 by the President of Syrian Arab Republic.

2- Issuing Syrian Thermal Insulation Buildings Atlas (STIBA)

3-Designing thermal calculation software for the Syrian insulation code

4- Put strategy to develop Syrian insulation Code according to climate zones in Syria.
