  16. Introduction I am Andrew Southall At Exeter University I chair the External Advisory Committee for SECaM I have an Hon. Research Fellowship with CWS I am interested in Business Engagement

  17. Why work with CWS? International Capability but grounded in UK context Constantly looking over the horizon but also working on current issues (PR09) Able to challenge the status quo and provide fresh perspective Adding value and reach

  18. Is it really that difficult? Well, NO it need not be Finding the right entry point into the organisation is key, as is finding the right people to work with Good relationships take time (my own experience is based on over 14 yrs!)

  21. It takes two to tango! CWS wants to keep its research grounded in real world practice It should always create win-win You are buying thinking time and the opportunity to see things differently You can “sell” differentiation and value adding thinking
