  3. Paper requirements (100 pts.) • 1 page typed. Double-spaced. 12 sized font, New Times Roman. I inch borders. (25 pts.) • 3 paragraphs. 75 pts. (25 each) • First – Introduction of artist, time period, and importance. • Second – Select 2 artworks and describe them thoroughly using FORMAL terminology (posters). • Third – Discuss the artist’s technique, materials used, and conclude the paper. Project (100 pts.) • Select one artwork and you will study and re-copy the piece to your BEST ability. • You will be observant to minor details and will focus on making the piece look identical. The best artists throughout history studied and copied their predecessors. • 18’x24’ with charcoal, colored pencils, and/or ink

  4. Project Timeline • May 13th: Introduction and Selection of Artist. • May 20th: 1st Rough Draft Due (Assignment Grade) • May 24th: Working Critique (Assignment Grade) • May 28th: 2nd Rough Draft Due (Assignment Grade) • May 31st: Project and Paper DUE
