  3. On the down side………. • JSNA – DPH should add value • Wordiness – no-one will read it! • Jargon – still a lot of it about • Dumbing down – most people can read simple charts and tables • Random pictures – should add value www.adph.org.uk

  4. Heart of Birmingham • Comprehensive • Rich data analysis • Clear and strong recs • Easy to read exec summaries • Not for public www.adph.org.uk

  5. Sandwell • Campaigning • Easy to read • Last year’s achievements • CD with detail • Design not very creative www.adph.org.uk

  6. Sefton • Highly collaborative • Varied format • Links to further content • Easy read • Very glossy! www.adph.org.uk

  7. Sheffield • Good progress report on last year • Interactive web-based report • Clear recommendations for all • Hard copy wordy www.adph.org.uk

  8. Suffolk • Comprehensive single topic • Progress report from 2 years • References • Clear recommendations • Very wordy www.adph.org.uk

  9. Results • 3rd – for balancing public with professional use & good use of pictures and diagrams • 2nd – for clarity and comprehensiveness and progress updates for the last TWO years • 1st – for taking us back to the INDEPENDENT role of the DPH report www.adph.org.uk
