Files needed for this EDB-module can be downloaded here: • http://www.ipt.ntnu.no/e-learning/seismics/ • Download the six files described below and store them in the same directory on your computer. The files should be stored on the same drive as Hampson-Russell. • Well_1.dat contains • Depth, true vertical (TVD) • P-velocity • S-velocity • Density • Acoustic Impedance (AI) • Elastic Impedance at 36 • EI(36) / P-velocity • fmtop_Well_1.dat contains the formation tops • Well_1_TD.las contains a time-depth table necessary for a ‘check shot correction’ • 4. horizons contains the horizon for the seismic line • 5. and 6. • Near.sgy and Far.sgy are segy-files containing respectively near- and far offset PP stack. The files contains 110 traces and Well_1 is located at CDP 37. • The utm x and y positions are removed from the trace header. • Average angle of the far offset PP stack is 36
