Overview • What is Atlas for Lotus Connections? • Expertise Search and Social Network Analysis Suite • Combines the power of Advanced Expertise Location, social networks, and social network analysis to enable users to better understand and leverage existing social networks within an organization • Capabilities Include: • Find & Reach - Advanced Expertise Location • MyNet - Personal Social Network Visualisation • Network - Enterprise Social Network Visualisation • Atlas for Lotus Connections extends the value of Lotus Connections by: • Enhancing expertise search based on people's work • Empowering user's to leverage their corporate relationships to accomplish tasks • Analyzing social data to help to identify what specific areas of knowledge expertise are at risk based on planned (or unplanned) attrition (e.g. retirement, separation or leave of absence)

For example, when changing roles or organizations, a user may no longer want to be associated with a particular query. • Inappropriate and stop words submission and processing • Inappropriate words: prevents the search from executing (e.g. “cocaine”) • Stop words: removes words from search query (e.g. “at, a, the”) but still executes the search

(continued) • Additional integration with Connections • Leveraging LC data to further define expertise, relationships and eventually interests. • Leveraging manual Profile relationships (i.e. My Colleagues) to enhance the accuracy of your personal social network (i.e. MyNet). • Administration interface & reporting • Inappropriate & stop word management • Index monitoring & management • Reports available include: • Search transactions: Query how many searches are processed in each module (Net, Reach, Find) given a period of time. • Contributing report: Query the total number of contributors, and newly joined members over a given time period. • User report: Query how many users have executed searches • Feed Consumer Service: Expertise & Relationships • Incorporate expertise and relationship information from other enterprise application sources via ATOM feeds

FAQ's • What languages are available? • English. • Other western languages may be accommodated via an ISSL services engagement. • Is Atlas available stand-alone without Lotus Connections? • No • What if a customer already has Lotus Connections installed? • The ISSL services offering can be modified to just the Atlas asset price/license and services implementation only. • Can the customer run Atlas using the same WAS license that ships with Lotus Connections? • No. The WAS license that ships with Lotus Connections is a limited use license and restricts the customer to only use WAS with Lotus Connections. The customer will need to a valid WAS license to deploy this asset. • What operating systems are supported for Atlas? • Linux (RedHat v4-u4) • Will Atlas work with other collaborative tools such as Microsoft Outlook for e-Mail and Microsoft Live Communications Server for Instant Messaging. • This can be accomplished by additional ISSL services. • What other data sources can be used with Atlas? • Atlas can consume other data through ATOM feeds.
