UP Robotics ClubPresident: Ian Averman [averman15@up.edu] • Open to all engineering, computer science, and other interested students. • Design, build, and compete an autonomous robot to mine on the moon. • Community outreach to local HS • Compete in the NASA Lunabotics Mining Competition held at the Kennedy Space Center in late May.

Society of Women Engineers(SWE)President: Chelsea Kemp (kemp14@up.edu) • Open to allengineeringand computer sciencestudents – male and female • Female members have an opportunity to become part of the national organization • Fantastic opportunity to network • Tours of local engineering companies • Past years have included Intel and CH2M HILL • Coffee meet-and-greets with professionals • National and regional conference attendance • Free food at every meeting!

  20. American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) • Vice President: Jordan Lum (lum14@up.edu) • Interact with local professionals. • Oregon ASHRAE provides a number of scholarships to upper class students
