  2. Prototype Assemblies • Two issues were found when assembling the prototypes: • Cap tightness • Double Clicking

  3. “Tight” Fit • Teeth of cap and seal catching each other, getting stuck at peak of motion

  4. Double Click • Some cap assemblies were not fully engaging the childproof features First click position Second click position

  5. Possible Contributors • Seal height specification • Parts are larger than specification, limiting motion • Lug spacing on cap • Lugs are not evenly interacting with features of the vials

  6. Seal Height Desired Height: 0.419 ± 0.005in

  7. Cap Master • Sections of the master had areas of inconsistent paint thickness

  8. Cap Master • The shape fidelity of some of the lugs could be off

  9. Chipped Lugs on Caps • 3 Caps were received with multiple lugs having chips
