  4. What I do there • Every Hokie fan available comes to watch the football team play against whoever their opponent is that week. • When the football team enters to the traditional song, Enter Sandman, everyone starts jumping until the team burst into the stadium. • The chants of “Let’s Go…Hokies” is easily heard and repeated any gameday. http://www.collegegridirons.com/acc/LaneStadium.htm

  5. Attendance at Lane Stadium Virginia Tech has sold out every football game since the 1998 season with an average attendance 66,233 per game (Hokiesports.com) http://www.collegegridirons.com/acc/LaneStadium.htm

  6. Why I like it • The crowd is intense for every down that occurs in Lane stadium and the atmosphere is ecstatic. • Every person is deeply involved in what is going on in the game and would give anything for a win. • The ongoing school spirit is unbelievable and is on full display any given Saturday. http://www.collegegridirons.com/acc/LaneStadium.htm

  7. Why I like it (con’t) • I also love how the school itself and the student body always stands behind their football team and players no matter how rough the season is or how bad a game was played the previous weekend. • There is also a sense of family among the community that is very nice among the fans who look out for eachother • Above all, there is Hokie Respect, a program of courtesy by the home team, to keep Lane Stadium a first-class environment. http://www.collegegridirons.com/acc/LaneStadium.htm

  9. Feedback New Features: Comments: • There were a few new features that I used while constructing this PowerPoint which included adding hyperlinks, footnotes, speaker notes, and smart art to my slides. • Overall, I felt the assignment was very manageable and not to difficult of a task to complete. http://www.collegegridirons.com/acc/LaneStadium.htm
