Prostate Cancer in Black men in Africa … • Limited information due to low screening practices, lack of / inadequate cancer registries, and poor healthcare access. • Leading malignancy for Black males in Ivory Coast & Nigeria. • According to Osegbe (1997), the incidence of prostate cancer in Nigeria is comparable to that of African Americans.
