  1. What is Hatha Yoga? Yoga: The use of different body positions with control of breath rhythm to relax the mind and body for achieving spiritual and physical health is called Yoga.  Some people have misconceptions regarding Yoga. They think one must have a flexible and rubber-like body to perform Yoga, which is not right at all. You should know the basic techniques and postural adaptations according to the types of Yoga, and you can benefit from the spiritual effects of Yoga. Yoga is nothing but the “reunion “of your soul and body. According to holistic medicine, we should treat the human body as a “whole,” including all the emotions, physical well being, and spiritual health optimization.  Hatha yoga: Hatha is a combination of two different words having a completely different meaning, “Ha” and “Tha” join together having the implications of “sun” and “moon,” respectively. Superficially it means to induce a balance between moon and sun in you. From a perspective of its profound meaning, it is the preparation of your body muscles and joints to achieve a balance between your physical and spiritual health.

  2. Let’s take an example; if you are very excited about getting a job, your body language would be different. If you are sad about losing a job, you would be sitting differently, which means our body positions can determine our consciousness level. Hatha Yoga can help you achieve focused consciousness with the use of different body positions. What should you expect from Hatha Yoga? Hatha yoga is best for those who are new in “spiritual learning” and want to break their minds and bodies by relaxing techniques. It is quite a gentle and straightforward type of Yoga that emphasizes static posture. You may have various Hatha yoga centers in your area which conduct daily classes, which usually last for one hour. Before proceeding towards more challenging body posture, there is often a warm-up period of ten to fifteen minutes, so there can be proper blood regulation between different parts of the body and reduced muscle soreness after exercise. Hatha yoga class consists of the following three steps: Rhythmical breathing: Have you ever tried breathing deeply? After crying, if no, then you must try this method to boost up your mood. Our breathing center is present in the brain; stimulating the breathing center can have a positive impact on all the body. Therefore, at the start of the class, the instructor will tell you to focus on your breathing patterns and ultimately make them healthy. Yoga poses: Yoga poses consist of different body positions comprised of muscle and joint movements to attain a relaxation level by improving overall strength, proper balance, and flexibility, always start with comfortable poses first. Meditation: It is the last part of the class, in which your instructor will ask you to lay down calmly and shed all negative thoughts from the brain, focus on the present by leaving the guilt and regrets of past behind. The sole purpose of the Hatha Yoga Training is to relieve your anxiety and tension by making you perform different body movements.
