  3. Writing Activity • Take on the role of a Spartan citizen. Choose between an Equal, half-citizen, helot, council of elders, ephor, Spartan boy, or a Spartan girl. • Write a 3 paragraph journal entry explaining your daily life, or the activities you take part in each day in Spartan society.

  4. Group Work • Create a calendar • Create a map of your city state • Include farmland, temples, government buildings, a house for each person in the group, also a style of home for each social class in your community, places of where your minerals come from, roads, etc. • Other geographical features: forest, desert, coasts, rivers, etc.
