  2. Antiphon: ALL– Let the praise of the Lord resound • from the ends of the earth. • Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise to • the ends of the earth! • 2. Let the sea roar and all that fills it, the • coastlands and all their inhabitants

  3. Let them give glory to the Lord and declare • his praise in the coastlands. • 2. The Lord goes forth like a mighty man, like a • man of war he stirs up his fury; He cries out, • He shouts aloud, he shows himself mighty • against his foes.

  4. For a long time I have held my peace, I have • kept still and restrained myself; now I will • cry out like a woman in travail, I will gasp • and pant. • 2. I will lay waste mountains and hills, and dry • up all their herbage; I will turn their rivers • into islands, and dry up the pools.

  5. And I will lead the blind in a way that they • know not; In paths that they have not known • I will guide them. • 2. I will turn the darkness before them into • light, the rough places into level ground.

  6. 1+2 Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was… Ant: ALL- Let the praise of the Lord resound from the ends of the earth.

  7. Reading: Mt. Ch. 8 verses 23-27. Jesus calms the storm.

  8. INTERCESSIONS: 1. Almighty Father the heavens cannot hold your greatness; yet through your Son we have learned to say; Res: ALL: Father, may your kingdom come! 2. We praise you as your children:- may your name be kept holy in the hearts of all mankind. Res: Father, may your kingdom come!

  9. 3. Help us to live in the hope of heaven today:- make us ready to do your will on earth. Res: Father, may your kingdom come! 4. Give us this day the courage to forgive other:- as you forgive us our trespasses. Res: Father, may your kingdom come! 5. Father, be with us in all our trials:- do not allow us to fall away from you. Res: Father, may your kingdom come!

  10. Our father who are in heaven Holy be your name Your kingdom come, your will be done On earth as it is in heaven Give us today our daily bread and forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us Do not bring us to the test But deliver us from all evil. Amen

  11. Let us now pray together the prayer for Seafarers: O Mary, Star of the Sea,/ Light of every ocean,/ Guide seafarers/ across dark and stormy seas,/ Let them reach/ the haven of peace and light/ prepared in Him/ who calmed the sea./ As we set forth/ upon the oceans of the world/ and across deserts of out time/ show us O Mary/ and lead us to your precious Son.

  12. May He walk on the sea for us/ as He walked towards his disciples./ Pray that we will never fail on life’s journey/ In our heart and mind/ in word and deed/ In days of turmoil and in days of calm/ May we always look to Christ and say/ Who is this/ that even the wind and sea obey him?

  13. Our Lady Star of peace. Pray for us./ Bright Star of the sea Guide us!/ Our Lady Stella Maris,/ Star of the Ocean. Pray for us./

  14. Hall Queen of heaven, the ocean star Guide of the wanderer here below Throne on life’s surge, we claim they care Save us from peril and from woe Mother of Christ, Star of the Sea Prayer for the wanderer, pray for me, Pray for the wanderer, pray for me.
