  1. How are decisions made on car finance? • It may feel a bit like a secret science, but there are actually just a few factors that contribute to how companies make decisions on car finance. Essentially, they'll be looking at your credit profile and financial history – they'll calculate your affordability, and they'll need to be comfortable that you've proved you are who you say you are (usually via photo ID). If you're worried about your credit history, there are lots of tools online that help you to see your current credit score, and often suggest ways you can improve it.  • Can I Get Car Finance?

  2. What is car finance? • As a quick summary, car finance is a loan that pays for a car you want to purchase. It could be a partial loan (where you contribute a deposit at the beginning) or it could be what we call a 'zero deposit' loan, where you borrow the entire amount. You apply for the finance, buy the car and then make the agreed monthly repayments to the lender. You can find car finance loans from different places, including the car dealership itself, your bank, a building society, a car finance specialist, or other lenders.  • Car Finance Explained

  3. How Does Car Finance Work? • When you get car financing, you will have the opportunity to buy the car that you want without having to use up all your savings on one purchase. Instead, you will be paying the car finance company a fixed amount every month for a set number of years. Car finance is a type of credit agreement between you as the borrower and the car finance company as the lender. • Car Finance Questions

  4. What are the risks of buying a car online? • Like anything, there are always some risks to consider, but we don't see too many with buying a car online. Most companies will offer some seriously good guarantees, like 7 or 14 days moneybackoptions, which means if there's something wrong when the car arrives, they'll come and take it away again. Also, they tend to check the car thoroughly and carry out any necessary repairs before they even put it online.  • Buying a Car Online
