  2. Feast day St. Elizabeth’s feast day is 17th November. We celebrate Elizabeth’s feast day by having a mass or we pray to her.

  3. Patron St Elizabeth is patron of widows and young brides and bakers.

  4. Birth & Death St Elizabeth was born July 7th 1207.She died on November 17th 1231.She was only 24 when she died!

  5. Facts She was a princess, daughter of King Andrew of Hungary. She was married at the age 13 to Prince Louis!! She built a hospital at the foot of a mountain. After six years of marriage, her husband died in the Crusades, and Elizabeth was grief-stricken.

  6. In 1228 Elizabeth joined the Secular Franciscan Order, spending the remaining few years of her life caring for the poor. She was canonised in Perugia Italy in 1235.
