  2. Founder of Shavei Israel in Jerusalem Michael Freund is the father of five sons, four of whom have served in elite IDF combat units. He has resided in Israel for the past 25 years, and he was Deputy Communications Director in the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office for Binyamin Netanyahu. He is the founder of Shavei Israel in Jerusalem.

  3. Deputy Communications Director Michael Freund has an MBA in Finance from Columbia University. He is also an ordained rabbi. Born in New York, he moved to Israel 25 years ago and was once the Deputy Communications Director for Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. He is a syndicated columnist for Israel’s largest English language periodical.

  4. Graduated From Princeton University Michael Freund graduated from Princeton University then received his MBA from Columbia University. He is a rabbi and devout member of the Jewish community who founded Shavei Israel in Jerusalem. Through his group, he assists Jewish communities to return to Zion.
