Do now: • Take out your module 6 packet. • What are some things that you notice, what are some things that you wonder? • Mrs. Sampson, Ms. Bay-Chaparro and Mrs. Smith wanted to go to the store to buy supplies for an end of year party. Mrs. Sampson wanted to get a certain number of ice cream cups, but Mrs. Smith wanted to make that number a certain number of times larger. Ms. Bay-Chaparro suggested buying a certain number of times smaller than Ms. Smith’s suggestion.

Developing a Statistical Project (as a review) Over the past few days, you have been working in a small group to apply the skills you have learned from statistics to create and implement your own statistical project. Your group will: Create a statistical question. Determine a data collection tool. Gather the data using the collection tool from at least 50 students. Organize the data you have collected and graph the data in at least 2 different ways. Utilize the graphs to answer your statistical question. Create a visual (poster) that includes your statistical question, graphs, measures of center and variability (mean, median, mode, MAD, range) Prepare a presentation
