  8. Career Transitions Hours Every grade 12 graduating students is expected to obtain 30 hours of volunteer and/or work experience hours. Students can meet such a requirement in one of the following two methods: WEX (Work Experience): WEX is a way to receive 4 credits for employment hours. Students are to complete an intent form with Mr. Dorf in order to be enrolled in WEX. Once the intent has been completed, hours start counting from that moment forward. Once a student has worked 100 hours and relevant paper work has been completed, students receive 4 credits for their working hours. See Mr. Dorf ASAP if interested!! 30 hour requirement: some students will opt out of WEX. In order to meet the graduation requirement, such students can obtain a form from the counselling center from Mrs. Marshall or Mr. Dorf. The form consists of 6 questions regarding work/volunteer experience, along with a required signature from a supervisor vouching for the 30 hours to be completed.

  9. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure he/she has met all graduation requirements and is on track to graduate this year.
