  2. Central Image Of Mice and Men By John Steinbeck

  3. Setting Branch Place Soledad, California 1900’s This is the time period of the Great Depression, and everyone is basically poor. They all seek to become rich by owning a farm or a stable, this is called the “American Dream”.

  4. Conflict Branch Person Vs Person It seemed as George was very annoyed with Lennie’s action. Although, George loved Lennie with great care. George seemed to get annoyed because Lennie was too stupid to think for himself. They travelled together, so Lennie being unable to think effected George as well Person Vs Society A man named Crook is separated from other workers because he is black. Although, all the workers live in the same place, Crook lives in a separate place for himself. Person Vs Fate. When Lennie killed Curley’s wife, there was nothing Lennie could do. It was just the matter of time before he gets caught. Curley who is the son of the farm, would then probably kill Lennie, his fate.

  5. Plot Branch Introduction George and Lennie runs away from Weed, California. Lennie’s love for touching soft things, ended up getting serious when he was accused of rape when he touched a girls dress. Climax Everything seems to go great, when Candy decides to pitch in a lot of money for George and Lennie. George and Lennie are working to owning a stable, and with the money Candy is supporting, they only have to work for another month. End Lennie’s love for touching soft things strikes again, when he accidentally breaks a Curley’s wife’s neck in panic when she screams. This results in George killed Lennie before Lennie gets caught.

  6. Resolution Physical Everyone is in regular shape except for Lennie and Curley’s wife. They are both dead, Lennie killed Curley’s wife on accident. George killed Lennie before Lennie gets caught. It is implied George shot Lennie with love and care. Emotional George shoots Lennie because George loves Lennie and he did not want him to be found by Curley. No one would know what Curley would do, and it would be much better, if George gave Lennie a fast painless death. Relational The relationship of the workers are vague, but I am guessing there hatred on George will grow, for bringing Lennie to the place.
