  • Mission Statement – The Reserve Component of the Joint Warfighting Center provides mission-ready, joint capable reserve force members to augment current exercise and training development capacity and support capabilities at the Joint Warfighting Center (JWFC).

J7 RC Capabilities Development

  • Accomplishments:
    • CD (RC) monitors PINNACLE, CAPSTONE & KEYSTONE events to identify issues and requirements
    • Developing Issues Tracker Database to process Requirements & mitigate to solution
    • Augmented in support of (6) Exercises/MRX’s
  • FY09 Plans:
    • Will utilize J7 RC SME to assist with doctrine reviews for Joint Pubications
    • Developing project support requirements with Training Development group
    • Expect to lock-in support requirements by the end of 1st QTR FY09

Multinational Operations

Military Transition Teams, MiTTs are responsible for training and advising the Iraqi Army (IA).

  • 98th Division (IT) assigned to MNSTC-I /MNC-I(2004-2005)
    • Australian Defence Force Teams
  • 80th Division (IT) assigned to MNC-I (2005-2006)

The Eastern African Standby Brigade (EASBRIG) is set to conduct a Command Post exercise in Kenya in November. This was revealed yesterday by the Director of the EASBRIG Coordination Mechanism (EASBRICOM), Simon Mulongo.
