  1. Jo.B.S. Centre – Instrument for the stimulation of development of entrepreneurship in the border region Romania – Ukraine – Moldova • How did the idea of this project appear • The necessity of a modern business center in the city of Suceava, that could valorize the geostrategic potential of the region • The finalization of the renewal at the C.C.I. Suceava-headquarters in order to ensure a business excellence center, completely functional • Valorization of the position and the institutional role of C.C.I. Suceava to promote and develop the economic and investment potential in the cross-border area • Analysis of the difficulties that the economic environment of the 3 regions Suceava, Chernivtsi and Moldova, has to face up: • - reduced percent of foreign investors • - insufficient development of the managerial competences • - insufficient information regarding the financing sources for SME • - lack of right marketing instruments • - low percent of business orientated towards export

Centre – Instrument for the stimulation of development of entrepreneurship in the border region Romania – Ukraine – Moldova • Evaluation stage of the project: • The project was filed in January 2012 • In September 2012 we were selected for the second evaluation stage • In June 2013 we were informed that the project is on the financing list • In September 2013 we signed the financing agreement • The project received a nonrefundable financing of 1,295,741 Euro, to which it is added our own contribution of 143,972 Euro. • The implementation period of the project is of 22 Months, the last implementation month being June 2015. • The project will take place in the 3 regions in the border area: Suceava , Chernivtsiand Moldova.

Centre – Instrument for the stimulation of development of entrepreneurship in the border region Romania – Ukraine – Moldova • What do we intend through this project • We intend to sustain the development of the business relations between the SMEs in the 3 regions in the project. • We intend to involve the Local Public Authorities, the representatives of the Territorial Governments and the NGOs in the actions of the project in order to ensure a favorable climate for the business development in the cross-border area, by closing public-private partnerships. • Development of existing SMEs, because they are the key of the growth of regional economical competitiveness.

Centre – Instrument for the stimulation of development of entrepreneurship in the border region Romania – Ukraine – Moldova • How do we reach our goal • By implementing during the 22 months of the project, 2 innovative solutions that will help the development the SMEs in the cross-border region: • An on-line platform of the project that will offer: • - e-learning function • - data bases with the firms in the cross-border area, on activity fields • - on-line consultancy for SMEs • b) The most modern business center in Suceava - Jo.B.S Centre, that will offer space to organize trainings, economical events, administrative offices and promotion of firms by own stands within the center.

Centre – Instrument for the stimulation of development of entrepreneurship in the border region Romania – Ukraine – Moldova • Which are the expected results • 300 firms, from the 3 regions, included in the project activities • 330 managers and employees will participate to free courses • 3 regional studies regarding the real need of trainings within the companies • 3 local workshops where the training packages will be establishes • 6 training packages / regionthat will be created and delivered to the highest level • 3 international economical forums to ensure the exchange of good practice between the SMEs in the cross-border area • 1 on-line platform of the project • 1 ComuneCenter to sustain business development – Jo.B.S. Centre – created within the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Suceava
