The Registered Providers Perspective • Maximising Development • We welcome the concept of housing zones in • London and the sub region in particular • Several areas in the sub region could bid for • Housing zone status • Opportunity areas can be great candidates • for housing zones, e.g Croydon Town Centre • Opportunity Area.

  5. Opportunities • The increase speed in which sites will be • made available due to acceleration of • - Planning • - Compulsory Purchase Protocols • To accelerate housing delivery in areas with • development potential in the sub region • - Tax breaks

  6. Opportunities • Loans will help Registered Providers programme • cash flow • Increase partnership working between • Registered Providers and Local Authorities
