  3. Project objective of programme To support improvements in quality and innovation in vocational education and training systems, institutions and practices

  4. Project priority of the programme • Develop Vocational Skills considering the labour market need

  5. Total Budget: EUR 227 806,53 Community grant from the Lifelong Learning Programme: EUR 170 854,90

  6. The aim of the project • to facilitate the development of innovative practices in the field of ICT vocational education trough transfering of modern training program based on the Baltic labour market needs • to increase the volume of co-operation between higher and vocational education systems and small and medium enterprises (SME) in Baltic states and high-tech enterprise of the Netherlands

  7. The objectives of the project • To develop a survey about existing vocational education programs in the field of ICT and ICT SMEs real needs for vocational education in order to implement JTAG Boundary-scan electronics devices testing technology • To adapt the JTAG Boundary –scan technology training program to specific vocational educational programs standarts and translation it in partner countries languages.

  8. The objectives of the project • To promote the implementation of new ICT technology in the vocational education systems in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia • To develop the skills and competence of Baltic VET teachers in the field of topical industrial marketable ICT technologies

  9. Target groups of the project 3 countries x 3 vocational schools = 9 vocational schools Schools Teachers 3 countries x 3 vocational schools x 1 teacher = 9 teachers 3 countries x 3 vocational schools x 15 pupils = 135 pupils Pupils

  10. Expected results • Agreements with partners • National overview of JTAG Boundary – scan technology potential users needs and specific for JTAG Boundary – scan technology education program content in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia

Expected results • The Boundary – scan technology vocational education program translated in 4 languages • Final version of the Boundary – scan technology vocational education program in Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian, English languages • Educational program use guidelines for teachers in Latvian,Lithuanian, Estonian languages

  12. Expected results • In the training seminars minimum 3 VET teachers of vocational education schools in each country are trained • Overview of evaluation of the Boundary – scan technology vocational education program results in every country
