  2. Monitoring Sites • Two sites in Delaware: • Nanticoke River USGS 01487000, STORET 304191 • Marshyhope Creek USGS 01488500, STORET 302031

Status • Monthly sampling started in Oct. 04 • The stations were upgraded to primary as of Oct. 05 • Two storm samples were collected during the fall of 05: • 10/11/05 (17.1 mm of rain) • 11/22/205 (36.1 mm of rain) • Storm samples are sent to the USGS Kentucky lab for suspended sediment/sand-fine particle analysis

  6. Sampling Methods, Funding, etc. • June 05 sampling and laboratory methods are followed. • DE should be able to continue to fund sample collection and analysis at the above two sites during FY 07(using State funds) • CBP funding is needed for continuing operation of the USGS gage at Marshyhope Creek.
